Named after the outrageous novel by J.P. Donleavy, The Ginger Man concept was born in 1985 in an old house in Houston, Texas. Our original pub is believed to be the first multi-tap specialty beer bar in America and is regarded as one of the finest beer bars in the world. Today, we are a family of Ginger Man pubs throughout Texas. Visit us and experience The Ginger Man tradition in Houston, Dallas, Austin, Fort Worth, Plano and now our newest location in Southlake. True to our roots, we still serve well over 100 specialty beers on draught and in bottles, in a friendly, comfortable and authentic pub atmosphere. We’re proud of our selections of Belgian ales and lambics, Oktoberfest brews, British and German beers, and U.S. craft beers, including many locally produced in each of our markets.
